- From Cologne Airport take S13 (direction Hansaring or Horrem) or RE8 (direction Mönchengladbach) at the ICE-Terminal to Cologne Central Station (Köln Hbf, approx. 15 min).
- From Cologne Central Station take underground line 16 or 18 to station Neumarkt (2nd stop).
- At Neumarkt take tram line 1 (direction Weiden) or 7 (direction Frechen) from the surface platform to station Universitätsstraße (3rd stop).
- Go ahead in travel direction and find RIU / EURAD located above an "Aral" petrol station on your left hand side.
Please note that the entrance to the building is situated at Richard-Strauss-Str. (turn left after passing the "Aral" petrol station).
The ride from Cologne Central Station to EURAD takes about 20 minutes.
There is no institute's own parking area. But several nonchargeable parking lots are located nearby.
The different departments of RIU are located in different floors:
- 3.rd floor Atmospheric Research / EURAD - Projekt
- 1.st floor Planetary Research
